Ciao, Orangina!

Lookee here!  I am not sure what P did or said to make me crack up, but this was the best picture of the lot.

Orangina (Citrongina, Citronella?) by Stefanie Japel at Glampyre
Rowan Cotton 4-ply in Zest, size Medium
Size 3 24" clover bamboo circs.

The only change I made to this fantastic pattern was to lengthen the ribs by one inch to cover my long torso. I love this little top, and I can tell I will wear it alot this summer. (Especially with my BCBG pleated seersucker skirt with matching lemon ribbon!)

I seamed up Orangina watching Farrah Fawcett-Majors skateboarding in the first season of Charlie's Angels.  I sure do love me some Angels.

More to come, stay tuned!

ciao, bellas.

P.S. Chris, I went to Bosnia and Croatia after the war.  Bosnia was a total mess - really very sad.  There were huge shell pock marks in the road, bullet holes in all the buildings, and all the parks had been converted into cemetaries.  There were also UN peacekeepers continuing to patrol.  My tour guides had all been adversely affected - everyone had post traumatic stress disorder.  I had two tour guides - Amer, who had served as a scout in the defense of Sarajevo, and Aida, who became step-mother to a family of four (the first mother was gunned down while holding her three month old daughter).  Sarajevo has a special place in my heart now.  The people were so warm and inviting, and had survived so much.

Thanks for clarifying the lemon ribbon, I thought you were trying to hide the large amount of ends of your sweater. Thanks for the note about your trip, how hard to understand their terror and fear, we are so insulated here.

It looks fabulous, Meg!! The yellow looks perfect on you in the natural light, and the lace is very neat.
