Ok, so I didn't get much done in the last two days. I admit it freely. I would have loved to have made progress on Milano, and I get to do a few rows at lunch, but honestly. It is a dark blue tank all in stockinette - it isn't that interesting! Progress photos would lend nothing. So don't expect to see any Milano photos anytime soon.
Some time back I started a squirrel sachet for my sister. Well, I finally got off my butt and finished it! I had a photo of the liner, but that seems to have disappeared from my camera, but I do have these two:

SQUIRRELY GOODNESS. Come on, admit it! You would LOVE to have a squirrel sachet in your bureau drawer! So this is going in my sister's goodie bag - late birthday extravaganza! Her birthday was in February. Oops.
In my never ending quest for Knit Novelties and other Oddities, check the Cityworm project. Wish I had known about that, not terribly challenging, I know, but there is something about knitting worms that just makes me smile. It ended a while ago (2001), unfortunately. Maybe she will do another exhibition.
and finally, let's hear it for UCONN! My sport of choice is usually soccer, but I will make an exception as my home state kicked some serious butt this year!
ciao bellas!
