'Ru boo-boo
Don't you just hate it when people run red lights and slam into you? Yeah. Me too. Had this happened in New Mexico I could have been seriously injured - high speeds are the rule there. As it was, I was going about 15 mph and she was coming at me going at least 35 mph. I am fine. Just royally pissed. It could have been worse - earlier that day a pedestrian was killed by a car less than a mile from my accident site.
I will be knitting while waiting for the insurance adjuster to show up. And muttering under my breath.

This is scary: I saw this girl talking on a cell phone crunched
between her ear and shoulder cross the street in front of UNM's main
bookstore without looking - ON HER BIKE!!!!! She almost got hit and almost
ran into someone walking in front of Popejoy. She couldn't look straight in
front because she would have dropped the stinkin' phone! :0{
Dude! That is such a bummer! I am so sorry about your subaru - I was sad
when my subaru got rear-ended, but it wasn't that bad, so I took the
insurance money but forgot to get it fixed. Whoops! Does that make me a
bad person? Hey, we should actually hang out soon! What do you think
about that??
Glad you're ok. I had an accident in NM about this time last year, and it
was awful, so I know how you feel.xx
