Because I live in fear of another baby boom (and this is a well deserved fear), I am going to start another baby sweater. This one will be on speculation. (I have probably just sealed my fate - what message will be waiting for me on the answering machine tonight?)  So what do you do if you love vintage patterns, but are only given a materials guide of 4 skeins of 1oz Spinnerin Sayelle baby yarn?  No yardage, nuthin'.

Well, you can go to Vintage Knits and go to this page and look up some of those yarns. So handy.  After some figuring I now see that I am 50 yards short of a sweater (as if I needed a chart to tell me that!) with the leftover Rowan 4-ply. And the LYS doesn't have anymore yellow.  Hmmmm.

Less than an inch of 3 x 3 ribbing on Orangina.

I smell a FO.

ciao, bellas!

p.s. Destination 1 was Canyon de Chelly (pronounced Shay) Arizona, Destination 2 was Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzogovina....really!

See, I knew I sucked at travel games! Wow, Bosnia? Before or after the bombing?
